Topeka classic! I really like Taco Villa. The interior is pretty old school, but it's cool to see all the posters on the wall from school sports teams they have supported over the years. The service at the counter is fast and friendly, and the food is normally ready to be picked up at the counter fairly quickly as well. Their sanchos, tacos, and "the thing" are some of my favorite things to get. The queso is also very good. Great fast food Mexican!

I love their tacos everytime i head into topeka i stop here to eat. The decorations were awesome and the service is just as good!

I went in to Taco Villa for dinner last night(10/16) around 7, they weren't too busy and I ordered within 5 min at the counter(people in front of me ordering) I ordered 2 bean and cheese burritos, chips and Queso and The Thing along with a drink. I dined in to eat my dinner. I believe they close at 8, but there were still plenty of people getting to go orders and dining in. There are 2 entrances/exits the one I went in the counter where you order is towards the back with some booths to sit and dine. The other side is much bigger with tables and booths. It was more dim on the side I sat on but it wasn't an issue. The staff was friendly and quick to take orders. I have started going to Taco Villa more frequently as a friend loves to go there often.

Listen, if you are from Topeka, you will likely have an opinion about Taco Villa that will never change. It is a hometown staple and we visit every time we are back in town (along with many others, gauging by how busy it usually is!) I order the nacho with jalapeños (a tostada with cheese, red sauce, and jalapeños if requested) and it is always delicious. I love their veggie menu options and typically also always get the Veggie Thing. I think it's a Crispy fried flour tortilla. It has refried beans, red and white sauce, lettuce, and tomato. I could eat this every day. The white sauce has a unique flavor that is perfect with the other ingredients. We also always order the chips and queso. Yes, it's probably just melted velveeta with sauce, but it has the perfect spice level and the crispy chips are a vessel for the cheese delivery, more than a eat-by-themselves food. If they have cookies available, you need to try them too. You'll mostly find tacos, burritos, sanchos, enchiladas in a tray, and nachos along with taco burgers, taco salads and veggie options. I believe they have hot dogs too. The customer service is always fantastic and occasionally you'll see the owner walking around checking in with customers (they get a lot of regulars). Be prepared to wait a bit, but it's worth it. KThe decor is the same as it has been for the last 25+ years I have been going there, but that makes it like a trip down memory lane every visit. They keep it clean and bus your tables for you. Bring some money for the claw machine!

I've been going to Taco Villa most all of my life. It's as good now as it was in the beginning, and a great alternative to many other fast foods.
